Radebeul - Moritzburg - Radeburg
A railroad with a great tradition
It’s already over 25 years since the ‘Friends of the Saxon
Railroads’ started something very special: the revival of the
narrow-gauge railroads traditions in Saxony and the reconstruction of
old trains. Thanks to this great enthusiasm, today’s passengers can sit
in a carriage from the 19th century with real wooden benches and
historical cylindrical iron stoves and discover the Saxon Elbland, a
region rich in woods and meadows, fields and lakes. In the forefront:
original steam engines from the dawn of the rail era accompanied by
hobby railroad staff in historical uniforms.
